North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited, Shillong Meghalaya, is a Rs.5000 Crore premier Schedule–A ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise operating in the North Eastern Region of India. The Corporation is engaged in Planning, Designing & executing Power projects both hydro & thermal and in consultation business in the Power Sector.
NEEPCo issued notification for recruitment to 3 posts (one post of Manager - Hindi and 2 posts of Trainee Hindi Officer). Interested candidates should send their applications till 28 June 2013.

Note: Trainee Hindi Officer(s), on successful completion of one year training period will be placed as Hindi Officer in the pay scale of Rs.24900-3%-50500 (IDA) (E2A) with probation of one year.
Placement: Candidates will be placed at Projects / Power Stations/ Offices of NEEPCO in various parts of the country as per requirement.
The posts are mostly for our projects located in the remote areas of NE region, hence, candidates willing to serve in these areas need only apply.
Selection Procedure: For the post of Manager (Hindi): Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview 
For the post of Trainee Hindi Officer: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written test / Interview. Only shortlisted candidates, on the basis of performance in the written test, will be called for the Interview  
Call letters / Admit Cards indicating roll number, name of the allocated test centre, Date of Written Test and guidelines for the test will be sent to shortlisted candidates by post only. Admission to the test will be on production of Admit Card.
List of candidates to be called for Interview (for both the posts) will be made available at www.neepco.gov.in. However the post-wise name of the short-listed eligible candidates will be made available on the NEEPCO website www.neepco.gov.in/Recruitment.
Finally selected candidates will be issued “Offer of Appointment”.
Travel Allowance will be paid to the outstation candidates as per rules if called for personal interview.
Test Centers: Written test will be held at Agartala, Guwahati, Itanagar, New Delhi & Shillong.
Application fees: Candidates are required to pay non-refundable application fee of Rs.500 through a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of ‘NEEPCO Ltd’ payable at Shillong
SC / ST / PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format alonh with attested copies of required documents / testimonials and Fee DD by ordinary post only to “Post Box No. 89 at GPO, Shillong – 793001 (Meghalaya)” and so as to reach the given address on or before 28 June 2013.
On the envelope, candidate should super-scribe “Advertisement Number, Post applied for with code”
Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail ID active at least for one year. 
Candidates awaiting their final result are not eligible to apply.
Internal candidates having requisite qualifications are eligible to apply.
